Living aboard boats is an unconventional lifestyle which few seem to fully comprehend. So with a crazy Vancouver real estate market so out of our league we chose leaky boats over leaky condo-“minimums.”
Beavers ahh! I had some of those they could be quite grumpy at times. I spent a lot of money making their enclosures bigger and better and their "dens" luxurious (for a beaver) which we covered in logs with underwater entrances and exits, also we supplied loads of logs for them to work on and attach to their dens. boy did they work when we emptied their water out to clean it! panic was an understatement and grumpy? boy were they grumpy. we bred them successfully so I guess they were happy (don`t like wild animals in capticity :o(( ) I did my best for them though.
Raccoons? I haven't seen those prints since I lived in Pennsylvania, though!
Yes Melissa, you win! Darn coons! There was a pair earlier that had captured Tobi's attention and they'd shred him to hell if the got a hold on him, inspite of his 14lb girth. Besides, he's a lover, not a fighter. They absolutely shredded it all. Rotters.
My mistake sorry, :o(( I had those too, scratchy little Bu*gers they are too :o)) I had a head keeper that had one as a pet, that lived in his house ! You should have seen the state of it when he finally moved out? :o((
